Sally’s Areas of Focus

Siblings.

Often, when one child in the home is facing challenges such as, ASD, chronic illness, addiction, and behavioral problems, the majority of the focus turns onto them. When this is the case, the other children in the home can feel left out, alone, guilty, and are in need of their own support. Having a safe space to express their own feeling surrounding the change in the family system is extremely beneficial to their well-being.

Type 1 Diabetes.

When a child, teen, or young adult are diagnosed with T1D, they are immediately thrown into a big life transition. There is added responsibility, emotional ups and downs, and an adjustment to a new way of life. It is important to have a safe space where they can process and work through challenging emotions and enhance coping tools.

Women’s Health

Women can experience a range of conditions that impact their overall well-being, including pelvic floor dysfunction and interstitial cystitis. Facing these conditions can feel overwhelming, isolating, and at times embarrassing. It can be hard to find the proper resources to not only treat the condition, but to achieve emotional, social, and spiritual wellness. Together we will work to build coping tools so that you can thrive and find relief.
